Choosing a Diaper Bag

When I first find out that I was expecting I decided that instead of having to buy all that is needed for a baby at once I would buy it a little at a time throughout my pregnancy. Without knowing what the gender of your baby will be at that point it's best to stick to gender neutral items and colors. Right now there are so many amazing designs out there that are fashionable and for both genders. I know that I wanted to buy the bigger items in a neutral color and fashion so that I could use it for the future as well as now. I like to start with my basic colors for those and then add my pop of color for either a boy or a girl with the accessories such as blankets, pacifiers, headbands, burp rags etc.

It's always a good idea to wait on baby showers for many things that you would normally get from others but with me I knew that I was going to want to choose my own diaper bag. I knew that was going to be something I took with me everywhere and I would want one that is both practical and fashionable. Something that I wasn't going to get sick of easily. I chose a neutral color of mustard yellow which is a color I absolutely love! I can't even begin to tell you how much research I did on what would be a good quality bag as well as have all the pockets and accessibility as I am using it each day. When it comes to anything you really do get what you pay for. I felt like this was an item that spending more would get me something that I would enjoy using each day and wouldn't be a headache to have to dig through each time I needing something out of it. I didn't want it to be too big and bulky yet at the same time it needs to be able to hold all you need in it.

Now to finally tell you what I ended up choosing….

Petunia Pickle Bottom Boxy Backpack

I love the vintage feel of this design. It's what is called "Glazed" so it is very easy to wipe off.

Can be worn as a backpack or carried on your shoulder

Has a built in changing pad
I have tried almost all of the MANY different style that Petunia Pickle Bottom offers. They all have something about them that makes them each amazing! You really can't ask for a better brand with style and quality. The Boxy Backpack has been the one I have consistently used and found the best for me for everyday use.

If you have any questions on this or any other bag by Petunia Pickle Bottom I have used please feel free to ask!
